Question: I was furloughed in March and went through that nightmare of filing for unemployment and it finally worked out. But then luckily my boss called me back to work and obviously I stopped collecting unemployment. It was slow, but we were open. But with this second shutdown, it looks like we are going to be laid off permanently. When I get laid off, do I file a whole new claim and start all over? I dread going through this again.

Question: Is the extra $300 only for people on UI or will we get it on PUA too?

On Sunday, I saw a B-25 in flight for the first time and came close to tears. This is the plane my dad flew in World War II. He went to war thinking he would die; he still lives in Portland at the age of 95. I wish he could have seen this magnificent, gleaming airplane in the sky.

Eden Lee Murray grew up in Kansas City, Mo., watching her mother perform with the Community Childrens Theatre. Murray was 4 when her mother asked her to pull the curtain open to start a performance. She watched in amazement as her mother and the other actors suddenly transformed into the characters they were playing. As soon as Murray could read, she was helping her mother learn her lines for the next show.
