Netflix has given the green light to an innovative animated series designed for preschoolers titled Ghee Happy, created by the acclaimed director-animator-illustrator Sanjay Patel, who has received nominations for both Academy and Annie Awards.

The series presents a whimsical reinterpretation of Hindu deities portrayed as young children exploring their emerging abilities within a deity daycare center known as Ghee Happy.

Patel has built an impressive reputation through his contributions to multiple Pixar productions, including Monsters Inc., Ratatouille, Cars, Toy Story 2, and both installments of The Incredibles. His directorial work on the animated short Sanjay's Super Team, which drew from his personal childhood experiences, earned nominations at the 88th Academy Awards for Best Animated Short Film and at the 43rd Annie Awards for Best Animated Short Subject.
