Comedian, writer, and actress Fortune Feimster, known for her Southern roots, is making her mark with her debut hour-long comedy special on Netflix, titled "Fortune Feimster: Sweet & Salty."

In this special, she shares humorous stories from her childhood, including her days as a girl scout, a debutante, and a swim meet champion who was disqualified.

She also opens up about her family's complex relationship with Hooters and recounts a pivotal moment when watching a movie helped her realize her sexuality.
