Even so, Jones wasn't privy to the idea of the Giants drafting another quarterback."I mean, I wasn't fired up about it," Jones told reporters Thursday. "But I think it's part of it at this level, like I said. What I can do is focus on myself and getting healthy, play the best football I can play, and that I know I'm capable of playing. That's my job and that's what I'm going to do."No quarterback is ever excited about the idea of a team drafting his potential replacement. But Jones has seemingly handled it in stride.As he works his way back from the torn ACL that ended his 2023 season prematurely, his sole focus is getting ready to lead the offense.
