The project was developed in partnership with the City of San José, the County of Santa Clara, and the Santa Clara Valley Water District. It is funded through a grant from the California Department of Water Resources (DWR) Urban Streams Restoration Program.

Project Benefits:

• Improved water quality in the Guadalupe River and its tributaries by reducing sedimentation and pollutants from urban runoff.
• Improved habitat for fish and wildlife by creating new wetlands and improving existing wetlands.
• Enhanced recreational opportunities for local residents by providing access to trails, picnic areas, fishing spots, and other outdoor activities.
• Increased public awareness of local watersheds through educational programs and events.
