Laughing gas, also known as nitrous oxide, is a colorless, non-flammable gas with a slightly sweet odor and taste. It is commonly used as an anesthetic and pain reliever during dental procedures and is also used recreationally to produce a feeling of euphoria. Inhaling laughing gas can cause dizziness, lightheadedness, and laughter, hence the name.
