De Bello Civili (On Civil War) is a Latin epic poem written by the Roman poet and statesman, Julius Caesar. It was written during the civil war between Caesar and Pompey in 49-48 BC. The poem follows the events of the war, from its beginning to its end, and includes descriptions of battles, speeches, and other events. It is considered one of Caesar's greatest works and is still studied today.
