Luigi Pigorini (1842–1925) was an Italian archaeologist and anthropologist. He is best known for his work on the prehistoric cultures of Italy, particularly the Etruscans. He was also a major figure in the development of Italian archaeology, and he helped to establish the Museo Preistorico Etnografico Luigi Pigorini in Rome. He is also credited with introducing modern scientific methods to Italian archaeological research.
