The 2022–23 Kansas Jayhawks men's basketball team represents the University of Kansas in the 2022–23 NCAA Division I men's basketball season, which is the Jayhawks' 125th basketball season. The Jayhawks, members of the Big 12 Conference, play their home games at Allen Fieldhouse in Lawrence, Kansas. They are led by 20th year Hall of Fame head coach Bill Self. The Jayhawks will look to become the first team since Florida in 2006 and 2007 to repeat as National Champions.On November 2, 2022, Kansas announced that Self and assistant coach Kurtis Townsend would serve a four-game suspension for alleged recruiting violations from a 2017 FBI probe.
